- Klung Kung Temple Art -

Here we offer art from the ancient capital of Balinese culture. These are each hand painted, using natural and some store-bought dyes on a chamois/sail cloth fabric common to this technique. The one very old piece is on woven fabric.
All pieces shown were created before 1980 around Klung Kung. This was once the center of the first regime to gain dominance in the Greater Java area. It is still an enclave for Hinduism, as is much of Bali.
