Barry's work is all about manipulating images "behind the scenes" as it were...There are many processes happening to the image before it becomes a final photograph. Films are made and played at varying speeds on a tv as monitor. The screen's balances are manipulated and then a photograph is taken from the screen, which itself is then inhanced. The beautiful images are the product of all this and more, but the final photograph is a simple expressive work of art...
