Patrick D. Goldsmith has spent over two years in Asia on several
excursions begining in 1979. He maintains contacts with artists and
collectors world wide.
We have tendered for sale several pieces of
Asian art from his extensive collection. These enclude Indonesian batik
paintings from Jogjakarta,Java; Klung Kung temple art from Bali; Thankas
from Tibet; hand carved Burmese lacquer furnishings; and other assorted
pieces.
PDG has given a series of lectures on Indonesian Culture encluding two
at Princeton University's Third World Center; as well as radio talks about
his travels and experiences in Asian cultures on WBAI and WHWH radio
stations. He has also enjoyed several visits to N.Y.C. cable TV shows in
the 1980's & '90s, where he spoke about art and culture with various
hosts and panals...
